Like other Hospitality employers, Fore Play have had to close their doors to customers, but this innovative team couldn’t be held back for long.
We were delighted to find out that Fore Play are offering their Loaded menu for delivery in Glasgow to make sure their customers could still enjoy their amazing food at home. Street food has always been part of the Fore Play Crazy Golf experience, from dirty burgers to BBQ jackfruit loaded fries, the amazing food shouldn’t be missed!
But as well as making sure their loyal customers don’t miss out on their favourites, Fore Play’s new take away venture has another aim. Fore Play have committed to 100% of the proceeds from their new delivery service being donated to the Hospitality Action COVID-19 emergency appeal.
Giuliana Vittiglio, Fundraiser & Marketing Manager for the Hospitality Action Fund told us:
“Four weeks ago, we launched our Emergency Appeal to give as many UK hospitality people an emergency grant of £250 as possible. This is a crisis grant to help people put food on the table and pay their utility bills and rent until the end of the month. We’ve raised over £400,000 so far and have been blown away by the support of the public and from UK businesses who have made this possible”.
Since the appeal opened on the 23rd March Hospitality Action have received more than 20,000 applications from across the UK. In 2019 they supported Scottish hospitality workers with over £90,000 of grants for a range of issues.
Fore Play hope that by donating the proceeds of the takeaway business to this good cause their customers can enjoy their meals even more. Knowing that while they enjoy the food, they are also supporting local businesses to retain their staff and survive the current crisis.
