Vascular Flow Technologies has accredited as a Living Pension Employer. As they were already both Living Wage and Living Hours accredited, this means they are now one of a growing number of employers who are triple accredited with Living Wage Scotland, and the first triple accredited organisation in Dundee. Through their Living Pension commitment, Vascular Flow are raising the standard for pension savings so their employees can afford to live with dignity in retirement.
Vascular Flow Technologies work in the research, development and manufacture of vascular and endovascular devices. The company also offers subcontract manufacturing and packaging services working with Companies, Universities, Inventors and SMEs on the development & manufacture of their medical devices. Having been Living Wage accredited since 2022, they made the choice to follow this with Living Hours and Living Pension accreditations in 2026.
Living Wage Scotland’s Living Pension scheme is a practical way for employers to help workers save enough to meet living costs in retirement. It launched in March 2023.
In the UK, 4 in 5 workers, or 16 million people, are currently not saving enough each year to meet basic living costs in retirement. This includes only 1 in 20 low-paid workers.
Living Pension Employers commit to a voluntary savings level using either a cash or percentage target. The Living Pension contributions amount to 12% of a worker’s salary, with most (7%) coming from the employer.
