Lochcarron of Scotland has become an accredited Living Wage employer. Their Living Wage commitment will see everyone working at Lochcarron, including regular workers employed through third-party suppliers, receive a minimum hourly wage of £12.60 per hour. This rate is higher than the government minimum for over 21s, which currently stands at £12.21 per hour.
Based in the Scottish Borders, Lochcarron of Scotland is the world’s leading manufacturer of tartan. By committing to the real Living Wage, they demonstrate that their staff are valued for the hard work they do. This accreditation also contributes to the ambition of a local Action Group of Living Wage employers working towards making the Scottish Borders a Living Wage Region.
