We’re excited to share a maternity cover opportunity in the Living Wage Scotland team at the Poverty Alliance to help us expand our employer engagement activities and increase our impact. 

Secondments can also be considered.

Salary £33,409 per annum plus 6% pension
Duration Maternity Cover
Hours 35 hours per week
Location Glasgow / hybrid working available

Living Wage Scotland was established in April 2014 by the Poverty Alliance with the aim of increasing the number of employers in Scotland who are recognised for paying their staff the real Living Wage. It is a partnership with Living Wage Foundation, with the Scottish Government as a key funder. 

The high-profile campaign has been hugely successful in accrediting more than 3400 Living Wage employers in Scotland, who have delivered pay uplifts to the real Living Wage to more than 64,000 workers. £485 million in extra wages has gone to low-paid workers in Scotland since the campaign began. 

The Living Wage Accreditation Officer will play a crucial role in retaining and growing the number of Living Wage accredited employers in Scotland and supporting employers to enhance their participation with Living Wage Scotland activities and projects, including Living Hours accreditation.  

We are seeking someone with experience in employer or business engagement with excellent communication and persuasion skills, and a proactive approach to collaboration. The Living Wage Accreditation Officer will work in a small team to engage with employers in a range of sectors and industries across Scotland to recognise the social value and business benefits of the real Living Wage and Living Hours.
